Resurfacing Laser

How it Works

Unlike a facelift or surgical procedure, Contour TRL, Sciton’s Tunable Resurfacing Laser, offers you the flexibility to choose a downtime that works for your schedule. Your provider can then tailor the treatment to achieve your desired results. Deep resurfacing treatments like Contour TRL may help delay or eliminate the need for future surgical procedures.
Contour TRL penetrates deep into the skin, minimizing the most stubborn imperfections, such as the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and rough texture, for a vibrant, healthy complexion.
Contour TRL can be combined with other Sciton modalities, such as ProFractional™ or BBL® HERO™ to simultaneously address multiple skin concerns while delivering remarkable results.

Post-Treatment Care

Patients can expect mild redness and swelling similar to a sunburn sensation after a Contour TRL treatment.

Redness may persist for 8-12 days, depending on the depth of the peel. Peeling and flaking typically occur within 24 hours following treatment and should naturally shed off.

Do not pick, rub, or forcibly remove any skin during the healing phase, as this may lead to scarring or infection.

Gently washing the skin more frequently will help to promote the peeling process.

Your provider will recommend a gentle cleanser and occlusive barrier to protect and soothe the treated area.

It’s advisable to use these products until the skin has naturally exfoliated.

Avoid direct sun exposure for two months post-treatment. Adhere to all post-care guidelines provided by your practitioner for optimal results.

Once the skin has fully healed and you’re no longer using the occlusive barrier, you may begin to wear makeup.

If you choose to wear makeup, applying sunblock daily is essential. This helps prevent hyperpigmentation triggered by direct or indirect sunlight.

Consistent use of sunblock is advised for up to 3 months after the procedure.
